We are often asked what does the name Rin-Pra mean? Where does it come from?
- In the early 1960s, Peter and Rosa Rinaldi along with Peter’s brother Antonio, migrated to Australia after starting a small market garden grower business. The Rin-Pra name was created by representing “RIN” for Rinaldi and “PRA” being the first initials on each founding director (Peter, Rosa & Antonio).
- Managing director, David Rinaldi took over the running and development of the business in the late 1980s. He has since acquired more farm land, established Rin-Pra Transport, established the current packing and storage infrastructure and has been the key driver in produce quality outcomes and strong customer service fulfilments.
- We have 3 generations of experience with the product and are acknowledged as a market leader for quality and command strong brand recognition. We have consistently been sourced and engaged as a third party provider of products to Woolworths, Coles and second tier supermarket chains.
